In order to achieve this target and provide employable skills to the youth of the State, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) has been instituted. Based on the learnings and experiences of other states, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has developed a unique structure for UPSDM. UPSDM acts as an integrated mission which combines the efforts of various State Departments in achieving the skill development targets for the State.

Under the Ministry of Culture, Indian government is planning to celebrate#AzadiKaAmritMahotsav2021-22 as a landmark year marking 75 years of India’s Independence. ICA provides skill training to 42,000+ trainees annually in 650+ schools in CSSVHSE project

The Government of India has brought out a revised Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Vocationalisation of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education by integrating employability education into School Education in September 2011. The scheme is operated within the National Skill Qualifications Framework (NSQF), which establishes a system of clear educational pathways from school to higher education while providing certification of vocational skills. The aim of this project is to make students employable when they complete secondary & higher secondary education.
