Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Vocationalisation of Higher Secondary Education

The Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Vocationalisation of Higher Secondary Education of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India lists out a crucial role for National Skill Development Corporation and its Sector Skill Councils in implementation of National Skill Qualification Framework. The trainings conducted in the scheme are based on the National Occupational Standards set by NSDC through its SSCs. The scheme also mandates the SSCs to conduct assessments and certification jointly with the State Board.

Our Role

ICA recruits teachers and employs them in schools as per the prescribed qualifications. We offer two trades in each school. We monitor and manage training delivery, organize On the Job Trainings (OJT), Training of Trainers (ToT) and Guest Lectures at different intervals. ICA takes care of curriculum development aligned to National Occupational Standards, development and printing of courseware, providing vocational trainers, industry participation through OJTs and Internships, MIS & reporting, Interfacing with all stakeholders.

What we did

ICA arranged 1st Grand State-level Retail Handicrafts Mela, 1st District-level IT Quiz Competition, 1st Retail Exhibition, 1st District-level Mock Job Fair (Industry Interphase). 1st, 2nd & 3rd, all three prizes achieved for Retail Skill Competition in State Level. ICA was also Awarded as Top Participant in IT Quiz Competition in Rajasthan State. Boot Camps conducted by ICA based on IT & Retail industries. Organised OJTs in partnership with multinational brands at live hypermarkets. Arranged Award Ceremony for principals, trainers and trainees.
